Recently, I am interested in “Kanbutsu” which is a traditional Japanese food culture. The food culture, “Kanbutsu”, which is the consequence of wisdom and ingenuity of the predecessors all over Japan, has been supporting Japan’s longevity for many years. I would like to learn it from various perspectives such as historical and cultural background, what kind of landform and climate has brought it up, processing method, distribution, nutritional value, delicious eating habit. It would be nice if we could convey the value of “Kanbutsu” across borders to the overseas in future.
